魚雁往返由網路

◎It’s a pleasure to read about you and your wife from 志遠兄’s email on your

mini reunion. We have lost contact ever since I received a call from you at

University of Maryland many years back. In fact we haven’t seen each other

ever since we parted in Tai Da.

From the pictures taken at your recent mini reunion in Kaohsiung , I

couldn’t recognize you at the first glance. Only when I take a hard look, I

begin recognize each of you. Of course, you won’t be able to recognize me

either, especially after I have lost so much of my hair, (unlike you who are

still able to not only keep them all, but also manage them into such an

attractive fashion—beautiful silver white.)

I am so impressed by the fact that you are able to learn Tibetan language.

Are you practicing Buddhism? A few years back I started to read Diamond

Sutra and like it a lot and three years ago I was baptized as Buddhist in a

North Carolina Temple near Duke University where 檀德育 teaches. Perhaps you

can share some of your experience with us, if that is not too much to ask.

Attached is a photo of my wife Donna (丁慧娟) and I, which was taken last year

at Tai Da 1962EE Class Reunion on an Alaska Cruise.

◎謝謝來信，多虧黃志遠林身振這兩位熱心同學，我們又連絡上了。

近十年來，我一直自學藏文和藏傳佛教藝術，對佛教微有認識，認同佛教的道理，但並未正式歸依，以後有機會見面可詳聊！

我是69級雄中學弟楊定家，

民國66年4月，行政院長蔣經國蒞母校巡視，
1977高中聯考放榜後，深刻的入學新鮮事件No.1
該年因賽洛瑪颱風侵襲…雄中校園及老樹受創嚴重
期待的新生報到訓練亦因此延期…。
1978/ 6教育部長朱匯森先生蒞雄中視導。
1978/ 8/ 1高雄升格為院轄市，省立雄中改名「高雄市立高雄高級中學」。
使我又得買了一個新書包（只印「雄中」二字的），哎.. 嘻嘻…
到了年底12月10日（我高二），記得那天下午學校宣佈提早下課，
騎著我帥氣拉風的三輪Vespa 沿中山路回家…
