化工情迴響

◎ 吳玉琴一直有意要將我手邊的文稿及資料做成album
「化工情」應該會給她深刻的啟示
我送玉琴2本化工情，她今天早上返美，一早打電話給我，她說昨晚連夜看完化工情，好感動好喜歡，外文系的班刊有希望了，她先生早就把我給她的資料全都電腦處理好，這幾年間再多方邀請同學下筆才是。明天也會寄給周南山及賴芳英，另外較熱心的同學我也想寄給他們，刺激他們完成夢想。玉琴希望回美後能跟葉嘉詮有新話題了。
◎ 送了一本給中油老同事劉錦池，當場翻閱後，告知與柯賢文是堂兄弟，及與吳振成教授是南一中好同學，表示看過還要交給兒子看。
◎ Thank you for the "52" book, I have finished half of it.  Among your classmates I knew only you,
Chen Lin-yuen, Liang Tzd-Kuo, and Ho Kuan Hsiung , all in the Drama Club. That's not many, but I enjoy your narrations very much.  And from the assay by Chen Ling Yuen I felt he had a happy family.
 My eldest brother, Victor, was a graduate from ncku, too.(1961, Department of Mechancal  Engineering).  Ill forward your book to him after I finish it, he seems interested.  May be he can recognize any acquaitances in your class.

Wow!  A mere "Thank You" note is not enough to express how much I appreciate it.  Just like I said it in the E-mail, without your 成大人吾倆化工情, our "'71 FLLD Class Album外文內美"  would not have been possible.  Your precious advice helped create the project that we will forever treasure.  I along with the editor team will make your preface and others that I have collected into the album. 
I will make the effort to attend the 80th anniversary celebration on 11/10/2011 - 11/13/2011 if I can find the schedule for it.  I know NCKU-DC  and NCKU-NY are planning for it.  Hope to see you all soon.
